St John Eye Hospital Group is the leading eye care provider in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is in Jerusalem and has centers in Hebron, Nablus, Kufur Aqab, and Gaza. In addition to our extensive range of specialist services, our team in the outreach clinic provides full and comprehensive high-standard primary eye care service to patients in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.

St. John is currently seeking to recruit several vacancies. The positions will be based in Nablus.

Medical Vacancies

Job Title: Ophthalmologist on part time basis (60%) – 3 days per week.

Qualifications:

-First Medical Degree.

-Postgraduate Specialization in Ophthalmology.

-Valid relevant license.

-Palestinian Board in Ophthalmology.

-Evidence of continuing professional development.

-Proficiency and fluency in English (spoken & written).

Job Title: Senior Anaesthetist on part time basis (20%) – 1 day per week.

Qualifications:

-First Medical Degree.

-Postgraduate Specialization in Anaesthesia.

-Valid relevant license.

-Palestinian Board in Anaesthesia.

-Two Years’ experience in Anaesthesia.

-Evidence of continuing professional development.

-Proficiency and fluency in English (spoken & written).

Nursing & AHP Vacancies

Job Title: Staff Nurse on part time basis (20%) – 1 day per week.

Qualifications:

-Registered nurse qualification.

-Ophthalmic nurse training/certificate.

-Previous ophthalmic nursing experience.

-Competent performing a range of ophthalmic nursing skills according to the nursing Competency Framework.

Job Title: Optometrist on part time basis (35 Hours) – 5 days per week

Qualifications:

-Optometry Degree.

-Valid relevant License.

-Computer skills.

-Previous experience in Optometry work.

-Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) fluently in English.

Job Title: Anaesthesia Technician on part time basis (20%) – 1 day per week

Qualifications:

-Diploma as an Anaesthesia Technician.

-Valid Relevant License.

-Basic life support and ACLS.

-Previous experience as an Anaesthesia Technician.

-Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) fluently in English.

-Records Office Clerk Vacancies

Job Title: Clerk on part time basis (75%) – 5 days per week

Qualifications:

-Diploma / BA in Business Administration.

-Computer Skills.

-Scanning /Archiving / Records Keeping Skills.

-Customer Care and Communication Skills.

-Cleaners Vacancies

Job Title: Cleaner on part time basis (40%) – 3 days per week

Qualifications:

-Tawjihi School certificate.

-Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a Hospital or Hotel environment – desirable.

-Ability to work flexible shift hours.

-Physically fit to work heavy cleaning equipment.
