The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Custodian.

Duties

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION    

Working alone, or as a member of a janitorial crew, performs a particular cleaning assignment or a range of janitorial duties for over 6 facilities and more than 100 residences. Incumbent also performs general manual labor.

Requirements:

Experience: a minimum of 6 months previous janitorial experience is required. 

Job Knowledge: Must have knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, supplies and equipment.

Languages:  Level II (Limited Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing in English and Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing in either Arabic or Hebrew is required. (This will be tested)

Education Requirements:

Education: Completion of primary school is required.
