Job Title: Outreach Activities & Promotion Coordinator

Project: (Defying the protracted crisis: Strengthening resilience in healthcare, food security and patients with non-communicable disease in the Gaza Strip).

Palestinian Medical Relief Society is implementing project to promote structured and integrated health care that improves outcomes and quality of life for patients with chronic conditions and reduce the risk factors that contribute to the development of chronic diseases. The project is implemented in partnership with Medico International and financed by Federal Republic of Germany - BMZ.

Therefore, PMRS is seeking to hire Outreach Activities & Promotion Coordinator with the following Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in medicine or any health related field (Master in public health is an advantage). If degree is in a different field, three years' work experience in health related field is a must.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience with health NGOs, in a similar field.

- Experience in coordinating and monitoring activities and writing reports

- Strong communication skills Fluent English (written and spoken)

- Computer skills.

The project activities are implemented in all PMRS health centers, and through outreach tasks including, activities with other health providers and CBOs, patients home visits, and public activities.

The selected applicant responsibilities are the following

- Developing Yearly plan for NCD campaigns, health education, scheduled cooking classes, networking and outreach activities the in the first month of each project year.

- Promote and systemize health awareness activities in all PMRS health centers through innovative approaches and ideas.

- Organize cooking courses for patients uncontrolled, or increased risk of complications from the disease.

- Using social media to engage more people in less costly health education and awareness activities

- Organize one screening activity every year for early detection in one of the common and silent NCDs

- Organizing one public health campaign every year that address one of the common risk behaviors in which the tools and activities should reach 100000 people through social media.
