Nature of work: As a Public Relations Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives to raise awareness of our organization’s mission, programs, and impact. You will cultivate relationships with partners to amplify our message and engage stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage press releases, and coordinate events to advance our advocacy efforts.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Communications, Public Relations, Human Science, Business Administration, or Marketing) is preferred
Experience: Previous experience in public relations or communications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Passion for social justice and advocacy on behalf of women and children
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance our organization’s visibility and
reputation.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Mobilizing and recruiting of recourses.
Create compelling press releases, pitches, and media kits
Coordinate events, press conferences, and speaking engagements.
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
