Position: Paid Community Ecosystem Intern
Duration: 4-6 months
Location: Jerusalem-sheikh Jarrah
Responsibilities:
- As a Community Ecosystem Intern, you will play a key role in strengthening our community engagement efforts and driving initiatives that support entrepreneurship and technology. Your responsibilities will include:
- Community Engagement: Engage with diverse stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and residents in East Jerusalem to understand their needs and aspirations for entrepreneurship and technology development.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing workshops, seminars, and networking events that foster knowledge-sharing and community building.
- Online Community Management: Manage JEST's social media platforms, online forums, and communication channels to foster a vibrant and engaged online community.
- Content Creation: Contribute to content creation for newsletters, blog posts, and other communication materials to keep the community informed about JEST's initiatives and opportunities.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research on local and global entrepreneurship and technology trends to inform JEST's strategic decision-making.
Partnership Building: Collaborate with other organizations, startups, and institutions to expand JEST's network and create impactful partnerships.
Requirements:
Passion for Entrepreneurship and Technology: Demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship, technology, and their potential for community development.
Excellent Communication Skills: Possess effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, community management tools, and content creation.
Collaborative and Independent: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Academic or Voluntary Experience: Background or experience in entrepreneurship, technology, sustainability, or related fields is a plus.
