The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of OBO Security Investigator, FSN-8. Duration of project is 18 months (with possible extension).
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Under the supervision of the Project Director, serves as the Foreign Service National Investigator/ Security Investigator for all security related activities associated with the construction of the Caduri Building Lease Fit Out. Works independently and provides security and administrative services in support of the project including background investigations, screening calls, file maintenance, etc. Maintains liaison with local police, contractors, Local Guard Force, security organizations and other security authorities.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Experience: Minimum three years of experience in the security field.
Languages: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing English and Hebrew are required. (This will be tested).
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to write factual/analytical, investigative and security reports, clearly and concisely.
Must have a valid class B driving license
Education: Two years college or university studies.
