We are looking for a Social Media/Operations specialist to join our team in Safarway's Ramallah office.

Safarway is the first and largest Arabic website and application that provides rich and up-to-date travel-related content, and includes the largest community of Arab travelers, giving them a platform to share their experiences and photos from their trips and exchange information and reviews about the best places to visit around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video)

• Pursue social media channels; write posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.;

• Monitor effectiveness of social media efforts; recommend ways to improve content;

• Interact with customers and deal with customers’ inquiries;

• Stay current with social media trends and best practices;

• Review and approve the content daily;

• Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features;

• Inform customers about new features and functionalities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite / Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

• Excellent copywriting skills

• A creative thinker with an ability to think out of the box

• Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

• Strong writing, verbal, and problem-solving skills, good storytelling abilities

• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

• Excellent communication skills

• A keen eye for detail

• Knowledge HTML is a plus
