Two Residents in Ophthalmology

We have two vacancies for Residents in Ophthalmology to undertake a “four-year Ophthalmic Training Programme” on full time basis.

To apply you should have the following:

1. BA degree in Medicine from a recognized medical school

2. Palestinian license to practice medicine for doctors from the West Bank

3. Israeli license to practice medicine for doctors from Jerusalem

4. Palestinian Medical Council Classification Exam (Surgical)

5. Proficiency and fluency in English (spoken & written)

6. Preferable to have the USMLE Step 2 CK

7. Preferable to have experience in Internal Medicine

Applicants will need to:

1. Fill the Hospital Medical Application Form, which can be requested by contacting us at jobs@sjeh.org or obtained from the HR Department and sent to jobs@sjeh.org

2. Send a copy of their Curriculum Vitae (Typed in English) including the names of two referees, with contact details (fax, phone and e/address)

The applicants, who qualify, will undergo an entrance exam to be shortlisted for the interview. On the day of the exam the applicant should bring along his / her Tawjihi certificate, medical degree certificate and license to practice medicine.

The date of the exam will be announced later.
