Contract : One year fixed-term contract - with possible extension .

Oxfam in OPTI is looking for a Business Development Officer that will support the Business Development Manager (BDM) and work with teams in establishing, implementing and maintaining the country funding strategy to increase Oxfam’s income and funding portfolio in OPTI from institutional donors. The BDO will contribute to the development and implementation of resource mobilization strategies to establish strategic partnerships between Oxfam and institutional donors to identify and develop new funding opportunities for the Country Programme. The BDO will support OPTI relevant teams in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza to deliver effectively and in a timely manner externally funded projects ensuring overall donor compliance including efficient delivery of reporting requirements.

We need someone who has proven experience working in a similar role with knowledge of working with field development & humanitarian cooperation preferably with an I/NGO ; and previous work experience in the occupied Palestinian Territory & Israel . Strong experience in managing donor contracts and fundraising activities, particularly major donors like the EU, ECHO, DANIDA, SDC, SIDA, DFID, etc.
