HR/Admin Technical Assistant (Nationals only)

The purpose of the HR/Admin Technical Assistant position is to contribute in the day-to-day implementation of the HR/Admin responsibilities.

Generic responsibilities
1.Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines;
2.Assist with the implementation of the HR/Admin portfolio according to the plan of action;
3.Implements independently procedures and activities within own function or core competency as delegated
4.Responsible for organizing and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards
5.Use initiative in day to day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities and standards for the area of work
6.Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
7.Ensure proper filing of documents
8.Promote and share ideas for improvement in your area of expertise

Specific responsibilities

1.Ensure efficient admin support to NRC Jerusalem office staff and visitors.
2.Perform reception duties as required to support visitors’ access to the office, set up rooms for meetings, order catering.
3.Act as the HR/Admin focal point for venue bookings; coordinate with preferred suppliers, confirm booking, compile all required supporting documents and submit to Logistics.
4.Responsible for staff attendance, prepare monthly reports and coordinate with staff and line managers on required actions.
5.Update staff leave tracking sheets and share with staff and line managers on monthly basis
6.Follow-up on staff health insurance and coordinate and negotiate when needed with the insurance company on submitted claims.
7.Maintain computerised and manual personnel records in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and confidentiality requirements.
8.Support recruitment and induction processes as delegated.
9.Raise PRs for HR/admin expenses, including office consumables, and follow up with the logistics team to ensure timely procurement and keep track on stock.
10.Undertake any other reasonable task assigned by management 

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a university graduate with a bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related filed with an INGO or UN agency. Fluency in English and Arabic language , both written and verbal , with Hebrew desirable .Ability to work under pressure ,to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet tight deadlines.
