- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled job.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusion, and ensure that all the computers are updated for virus protection
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
- Implement the Corporate IT Policy in all IT decisions and recommendations and ensure no procedures in the company are not in compliance of the IT policy
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures and enter all issues in the ticketing system.
- Update all Hand Held Tech and other portable devices with the latest software on regular basis
- Maintain cleanliness & tidiness of the server room at all time
- Contribute to and maintain system standards.
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Maintains excellent communication with the IT Manager on all tasks and projects
- Fix software and hardware issues within a maximum of 2 days if required hardware is available, or 4 days if required hardware is not available
- Update all hand held tech and other portable devices with latest software on regular basis and achieve 0 complaints in regards to downtime of mechanical software
- Ensure all computers are updated for virus protection and servers
- Minimize downtime due to virus attacks and Remove all Viruses from the users’ computers in the company and fix any issues
- Enter 100% of all the tickets into the ticketing system and resolve issue with 2 Days of Service turnaround.
- 100% availability of all Computer Supplies to be in-stock and available for users without delay and disruption of work
- Achieve 99.9% network & server uptime at all time
- Ensure 100% availability of IT Staff to answer phones: If one is not available, the other one should cover for the phone calls and achieve 0% employee complaints about availability of IT Staff
