Public Relations & Media Officer
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate was established in 1950 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate to represent, promote and defend the interests of the private sector. Currently, the Chamber is seeking to contract a highly motivated individual for the position of PR & Media Officer to help deliver innovative communication strategies that build and promote RACCI’s mission.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Organize and Coordinate public relations and social media activities.
- Coordinate PR campaigns and Manage events.
- Prepare, edit and distribute press releases.
- Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, social media posts, etc.)
- Develop in-house brochures, speeches, articles, and annual reports.
- Maintain and update information on Chamber website.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, the public, media and news outlets to gain exposure.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.
Qualifications:
- At least a BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of proven working experience in public relations.
- Proven track record executing successful public relations campaigns.
- Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
- Experience with social media including Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written (English and Arabic).
- Ability to work effectively with teams.
- Resident of Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate.
- Willingness to move across geographical areas.
