The main responsibilities include:
In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures:

  • Assists in the development of and maintains computerized systems relating to the registration of refugees.
  • Ensures the safety and security of registration, computerized and other transactions between areas and Field Office;
  • Checks for and alerts the supervisor on any errors/negative trends and initiates corrective action;
  • Analyses population figures and previous periodical statistical reports on the trends and movement of refugee population;
  • Assists and trains staff at area and Field Offices;
  • Performs such other duties as may be required.

Conditions of service
Monthly basic salary JD781.40. Other benefits include: 

  •  Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits+ (Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor.

To qualify for this position, you will need:

Education Secondary education plus a two year business and office practice, computer and statistics course.

Preference will be given to BA holders in business and office practice, computer and statistics course.

Work experience Four years’ experience working with computer/information systems. Language(s) Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of the VS operating systems/spreadsheets and database
  • Awareness of UNRWA registration systems.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.

Equivalency:

Candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualifications, professional training and progressive work experience may also be considered if there will not be enough qualified candidates.
