The main responsibilities include:
In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:
- Acts as principal nursing officer at the health centre and supervises and directs staff nurses and other nursing, midwifery and non-paramedical staff;
- Ensures the smooth running of the electronic medical record system, including training of nursing staff, replacement of needed equipment and computers, communication, backup system;
- Supervises the overall process of data collection and reporting;
- Directs and participates in all activities to ensure that health services are provided within the Family Health Team Approach context;
- Assists the supervisor in the administration of the health centre; controls and keeps records of equipment, uniforms, linen, sundries and other medical supplies needed for nursing activities; ensures their continued availability and supervises disposal of used items;
- Supervises and ensures the maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness and infection control in the health center;
- Conducts on-the-job training of supervised staff and participates in-services courses as and when required;
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
Conditions of service:
Monthly basic salary JD 943.48. Other benefits include
- Provident Fund contribution (7.5 % of basic salary staff member contribution, 15% of basic salary paid by the Agency)

- 30 days of annual leave

To qualify for this position, you will need:
Education A university degree in Nursing from a recognized university; Possession of a license to practice nursing services (where applicable).
Work experience: At least four years working experience as a qualified nurse provided with a certificate of satisfactory working experience for one year in maternal and child health;
Experience: in the use of computers and an understanding of their use in health applications.
Language(s): Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Desirable qualifications:
- One year experience in nursing services at supervisory level.
- A university degree in public health nursing.
