Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO) is an American non-profit organization that works in the most disadvantaged areas of the Middle East, enabling children, youth and parents to realize their potential as healthy, active and responsible family and community members. Our headquarters office is in McLean, Virginia; and our center in Palestine is located in Nablus. This position is flexible and based on deliverables, which means flexible work hours. This position can be based in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ramallah, or Nablus; with frequent travel to the Nablus center.  

Job Summary:

We are recruiting a highly qualified and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. They will lead TYO’s social media presence and manage all social media activities and campaigns that will advocate for our education, mental health, economic, and women empowerment programs. The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the organization’s Social Media strategy to increase awareness of TYO and improve marketing efforts.

The Social Media Manager will work full-time in cooperation with TYO local and international staff. They will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy.  They will be proficient in photography, videography, and editing platforms; as well as the most updated social media platforms and promotion methods to continuously post engaging content.     

Responsibilities: 

• Develop, implement, and monitor a social media strategy for TYO. 
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds awareness, meaningful connections and encourages community members to support TYO.
• Manage and lead on all content and campaigns on all TYO social media profiles.
• Collaborate with the programs team to plan and take engaging content for social media.
• Launch social media campaigns and implement strategies for individual content posts.
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization and curation ideas.
• Conducting advertisement campaigns on social media platforms to expand followers/reach. 
• Creating a local and global network through a database for donors, NGO and private sector persons, and social media influencers to enhance awareness on TYO locally and globally.  
• Attend local conferences/events in and outside of TYO and present reports to the team. 
• Measure and report on social media activity and campaigns- as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years experience in social media management and digital media and marketing.  
• Bachelors in communications, marketing, business, social/digital media, or a related field.
• Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring social media strategies & campaigns;
• Expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc).
• Proficient in budget planning, content ideation, and social media implementation schedules.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (oral and written communication skills);
• Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
