Org. Setting and Reporting    

Is responsible to the Principal. Supervises the Assistant Housemothers, the Nurse and any other domestic staff.

Responsibilities

In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures:

• Is responsible for the general welfare of trainees in residence and for ensuring that discipline is maintained in the dormitories and common rooms, particularly after normal working hours, and in the dining rooms during meal times.
• Ensures that high standards of cleanliness are maintained in the dormitories at all times.
• Organizes and/ or coordinates recreation activities as required.
• Organizes and supervises the work of domestic staff, and the nurse in the centre.
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Competencies

Communication skills.

Education

• Completion of full secondary education with good knowledge of Arabic and English.

Work Experience

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar post, or as a Head Teacher of a school.

Languages

• Good knowledge of Arabic and English.

Monthly basic salary USD 1050.2, payable in JD at UN monthly exchange rate, Other benefits include:
