Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deploying, patching, troubleshooting, migrating and upgrading MS SQL DBs, Oracle DBs, Oracle Real Application Clusters, MS SQL Always-On Clusters and application servers.
2. Database performance tuning.
3. Database restore through failures and disasters.
4. Database Security (Wallet encryption, Applying certificates, …etc).
5. Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans
6. Database daily health check and monitoring.
7. Configuring and troubleshooting Oracle Data Guard and Data Broker, to ensure replication to DR site.
8. Handle database integration with other platforms, monitoring tools and applications.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering or any related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience as a database administrator in an enterprise environment.
3. Solid experience in MS SQL and Oracle database.
4. Good knowledge in Windows Server and Linux RedHat OS.
5. Ability to work under pressure and for long hours.
6. Ability to be on-call and work outside work hours.
7. Database administration (MS SQL, Oracle) certification is a plus.
