CONTEXT:

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. 

MAIN PORPOSE: 

Cleaning and disinfecting linen, blankets, , staff uniforms/labcoats, curtains, working shoes etc, according to MSF protocols and  procedures and (international) hygiene standards, in order to ensure an efficient quality of care and safe environment

Place of work: OTs/ OPDs/ IPDs

Starting date:  26/11/2020

No Of Jobs :  Daily Worker Pool

Working Hours:  8 hours  per day Upon need 

Job Shift:  Laundry Workers Working Hours

Contract Duration:  No contract, work upon need

Required Travel: Not Required but some flexibility may be asked for operational purposes rarely

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• According to the protocols of an efficient laundry washing process, carrying out washing and disinfection of hospital linens, blankets, mattresses, professional clothes etc.
• According to the protocols of an efficient sterilisation process, carrying out the washing, the drying, the disinfecting, the packaging and the sterilization of the materials and surgical linens, keeping track of the sterilization process and its quality and ensuring a sufficient source of heat and the good functioning of the autoclave
• Knowing, applying and making sure that the universal hygiene standards and security rules are respected for medical premises and according to protocols, cleaning and disinfecting health premises allocated to his/her position: patient’s rooms, staff room, storage room, kitchen, bathroom and latrine, doing it on a regular basis and as soon as the situation requires it
• Following up and ensuring the quality of the waste triage and emptying out the dustbins as much as necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient quality of care and a safe environment. Working in close collaboration with the “outside hygiene agent” especially regarding waste elimination
• Reporting all relevant information linked to the laundry or designated activities that should be communicated to the line manager
• According to the protocols of an efficient laundry washing process, carrying out washing and disinfection of hospital linens, blankets, professional clothes, curtains etc.
• Reporting all relevant information linked to the laundry that should be communicated to the line manager
• To prepare linen and inspect for the departments as ordered.
• To check physical stock and quantity of Laundry materials
• To check the quality of linens/uniforms/curtains etc.

السياق:

منظمة أطباء بلا حدود (MSF) هي منظمة إنسانية دولية خاصة غير ربحية تقدم المساعدة الطبية للسكان في الأزمات، دون تمييز وبغض النظر عن العرق أو الدين أو العقيدة أو الانتماء السياسي.

الهدف الرئيسي:

تنظيف وتطهير البياضات و الأغطية و الزي الرسمي للموظفين، و معاطف المختبر، و الستائر، و أحذية العمل...الخ، وفقًا لبروتوكولات وإجراءات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود ومعايير النظافة (الدولية) ، لضمان جودة رعاية فعالة وبيئة آمنة.

عدد الوظائف: مجموعة من العاملين بنظام اليومي

ساعات العمل: 8 ساعات يوميا حسب الحاجة

دوام الوظيفة: ساعات عمل وظيفة عامل الغسيل

فترة العقد: لا يوجد عقد، الطلب حسب الحاجة

السفر: السفر غير مطلوب، مطلوب مرونة في العمل للأهداف التشغيلية. 

المسؤوليات:

• القيام بغسل وتطهير بياضات المستشفى والبطانيات والفرش و ملابس العمل ، و غيرها وفقًا لبروتوكولات عملية الغسيل الفعالة  
• وفقًا لبروتوكولات عملية التعقيم الفعالة ، القيام بعمليات الغسيل والتجفيف والتطهير والتعبئة والتعقيم للمواد والبياضات الجراحية ، وتتبع عملية التعقيم وجودتها وضمان مصدر كافٍ للحرارة وحسن أداء الأوتوكلاف.
• معرفة وتطبيق والتأكد من أن معايير النظافة العامة وقواعد الأمن يتم فحصها للمباني الطبية ووفقًا للبروتوكولات ، وتنظيف وتعقيم المرافق الصحية الموجودة في مهامه: غرف المريض ، غرفة الموظفين ، غرفة التخزين ، المطبخ والحمام والمرحاض ، والقيام بذلك بشكل منتظم وبمجرد أن يتطلب الأمر ذلك.
• متابعة وضمان جودة فرز النفايات وإفراغ صناديق القمامة قدر الإمكان لضمان جودة رعاية سلسة وفعالة وبيئة آمنة و العمل بالتعاون  مع "وكيل النظافة الخارجي" وخاصة فيما يتعلق بالتخلص من النفايات
• الإبلاغ للمدير المباشر عن  جميع المعلومات و الانشطة المتعلقة بعملية الغسيل.
• وفقًا لبروتوكولات عملية غسل الغسيل الفعالة ، القيام بغسل وتطهير بياضات المستشفى والبطانيات والفرش والملابس المهنية و الستائر ، إلخ.
• تحضير البياضات للاقسام حسب المطلوب 
• التحقق من المخزون المادي وكمية مواد الغسيل
• التأكد من جودة البياضات، و الزي الرسمي للعمل، و الستائر...الخ.
