BA/LGHR is recruiting Head of Distribution for a leading services company located in Palestine and covering West Bank and Gaza.

Summary Scope of Work:

The Head of Distribution will be in charge of directing sales teams and overseeing and organizing the safe and efficient distribution and delivery of the company’s products to retail stores through assigned distributors; ensuring that the orders are fulfilled correctly; achieving sales targets and improving the company’s footprint and market position.

Type of Contract: Permanent Full Time

Percentage of Travel Time: Moderate (within West Bank and Gaza)

Benefits: Basic Salary + Commission + standard benefits

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, forecast, report on sales, costs and business performance, according to management requirements.
• Coordinate with marketing and other directions in launching sales campaigns.
• Conduct business cases and analyze new potential segments.
• Set and achieve objectives/targets for short and long term periods.
• Set and develop distribution sales team objectives in line with the company’s Objectives.
• Manage and motivate staff to optimize and sustain sales performance, and channels’ satisfaction.
• Ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, objectives, discipline, training, etc).
• Propose new commissioning schemes according to market conditions and the company’s guidelines.
• Participate in Distributors/ Dealers selection process and agreements implementation.

Special Requirements & Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of the ICT/Electronics/Telecom/FMCG sector.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent skills in dealing with cross-functional processes.

• Able to manage stress and pressure.

• Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills.

Total Years of Experience:

• 12+  years’ experience with a minimum of 6 years in Sales and Distribution.

Education & Certificates Required:

• University Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Languages Required:

• Proficiency in Arabic and English
