Summary:

The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Housing Clerk, FSN-5.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION    

The incumbent reports to the LES Housing Supervisor and is a member of the real estate/housing team responsible for all aspects of real estate management and housing for State and various ICASS agencies. As such, serves in a coordination role with the housing section to ensure consistent performance and high standards of customer service. Specifically, responsible for: escorting Landlord contractors and personnel who need to work in the leased properties on routine, emergency or special projects, by performing all duties of escort, controlling and tracking maintenance repairs conducted by Landlords side by side with the Maintenance section, ensures quality control on these repairs, monitoring uncleared personnel into USG leased properties, afterhours access into uncontrolled Embassy areas or other locations within mission facilities and grounds. Responsible for administration of all residential and non-residential leases and in addition initiates and stops utility services, sending notification letters. Assists Housing Coordinators with submitting purchase requests.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

Experience: Two years of office / hospitality / administrative experience is required.

Languages: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing English, and Level III (Good working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing Hebrew are required(This will be tested).

Skills and Abilities:  Must possess a Valid Class B driving license.

Education Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
