The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Passport and Citizenship Assistant, FSN-8.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Performs full range of routine to moderately difficult passport and citizenship services. Does intake processing of documents to prepare cases for officer interview. Does accurate data entry of passport and Consular Report of Birth Abroad cases. Prints and processing CRBAs and emergency passports. After case transmission, tracks, processes, mails out, files and dispatches passport cases. Participates in Consular Crisis task forces. Performs other tasks related to American citizen services as directed by ACS FSN Supervisor or other managers.
Requirements:
Experience:A minimum of two years in Consular operations or other work related to customer service in an office environment.
Languages: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing English and Level IV speaking/reading/writing Hebrew is required.(This will be tested)
Skills and Abilities:
Must complete the FSI Passport and Citizenship correspondence course within the first year of employment.
Must have a valid class B driving license.
Education: Completion of two years college or university studies is required.
Evaluations: Applicants must meet all position requirements, including experience, education, language, and skills
