The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of  USSC Chauffeur, FSN-4.

Duties

The incumbent operates safely a fully armored vehicle (FAV) to transport the USSC General within the city and the surrounding areas, including the West bank.  Ensures that the vehicle is in clean and serviceable condition and performs minor preventive maintenance.

 Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

Experience:

At least three years of professional driving experience is required.  

Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to diagnose and handle preventive maintenance and first-echelon automotive repairs.

Must have a valid class “C” driving license. 

Languages: Level II (Limited Knowledge) in English (Reading/Writing/Speaking) and Level III (Good Working Knowledge) in Arabic and Hebrew(Reading/Writing/Speaking) are required. (This will be tested).

Education Requirements:

Completion of High School Education is required.
